We are unified in our effort to end hunger NOW.

Acutely food insecure people will hit a record high of 349 million in 2022, an increase of 200 million people compared to pre-pandemic levels.

Heartland Unified Now Global Hunger Relief Initiative (HUNGHRI), a nonprofit organization founded in Minnesota, is making an impact on the current and impending food crisis locally, nationally, and globally.

Hunger and malnutrition is not only an ‘over-there problem’, it’s an everywhere problem.
— Devry, co-founder HUNGHRI

The greatest hunger crisis of our human existence is happening right now.

Hunger on a grand scale leads to massive human suffering and provokes political instability.

Together we can feed people
and foster peace.

The HUNGHRI organization was recently formed in the wake of unprecedented food insecurity. It is estimated that over a billion people could be considered food insecure by the end of 2022, spawning increased migration and political instability, especially in net food import-dependent countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
